Kylie Minogue saves lives

Even though we mostly love her for that hat with her frizzy 80s perm sticking out the top, or for the denim overalls circa Neighbours, or for those gold hot-pants; Kylie Minogue is now officially a hero. Twice over.

Not only was she made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Prince Charlie yesterday, she is also a stopper of suicides. Apparently a radical protester called The Ninja Ant was in court yesterday (for possession of a knife) when he said that he was planning to stab himself in protest to the war in Iraq. Prepared for his suicide and his knife at the ready, a Kylie Minogue song came on his MP3 player and The Ninja Ant couldn't go through with it. The Ant said, "How can anyone be violent when they hear Kylie's music?"
