Lady Gaga toured Australia back in March. If you found yourself anywhere near the concerts (or actually there, screaming your face off), you would have noticed that half the audience had taken it upon themselves to dress up like the Lady. While the "In fashion, I have a PhD" crowd put on a great show, there was also plenty of fails in attendance. The pop music equivalent of wearing the band tee-shirt to the concert.
Gaga recently played Japan as part of the same world tour and just like here (and everywhere else in the world) fans went all out with their costumes, attempting to resemble Stefani Germanotta. Being Japanese, they went to considerably more effort than anywhere else in the world – cigarette sunglasses and telephone hair-pieces and all.
Meanwhile, the real Gaga is working on a follow-up to her diamond-selling (that's 10 million plus, people) The Fame (Monster). Apparently she’s "already written the core of it" and it’s "certainly my best work to date". But you’d expect her to say that. Oh, and her YouTube videos have now been viewed over one billion times – she's the first person in history to reach that milestone. All the above pleases Akon and his bank balance no end – he signed Gaga to his record label when nobody else was interested.
