Yeah yeah, we’ve all seen the Kanye West VMAs clip by now. We all agree it was total dick move. But gate-crashing an acceptance speech and acting like a jerk isn’t exclusive to MR ALL CAPS GAY FISH!!!!!!! Get a bunch of entertainment industry types in a room together, ply them full of booze for long enough and things are bound to get interesting when they get their hands on a microphone and captive audience.

Whether it’s ODB doing it for the children, Jarvis Cocker upstaging Michael Jackson or a "tired and emotional" Lily Allen up on stage with Elton John, random award show fails are usually the most interesting part of the evening. Especially when they involve prominent Australian journalists with a carton of tinnies in them.

Yahkoba, freedom of speech, means that you will not be PROSECUTED by the state for saying what you do. What you forget is, everyone else has the freedom of speech to tell Kanye West he is a complete fuckneck. To me this isn't even about freedom of speech, but rather the wish that people would be decent human beings, which Kanye in my opinion has shown time and time again that he is not.

Check your meds, Yahkoba. I think they expired in 1997. There's a difference between freedom of speech and showing a fellow artist (no matter who or how shit they are) professional respect. This may very well be the highlight of this young girl's career and Captain Look At Me can't sit still long enough to let her have her moment in the sun. Unfortunately, whenever Kanye chooses to speak his mind, he undoes any goodwill a couple of albums worth of gold gave him. Kanye = Kuntye as far as I'm concerned.
