The Japanese have turned convenience into an art form. While Westerners shuffle off to the local 7-11 to buy packs of nitrous bulbs and
condoms at 4am, the typical Japanese street corner has everything you could ever desire in neat little vending machines.
Not only are these vending machines convenient, they’re also feats of industrial design. Metallic works of art that dispensing beer and cigarettes to consumers like a coked up Santa.
Or maybe we’re reading too much into all this? Either way, Japan’s vending machines put our clapped out efforts to shame.
