Flashback episodes are boss. They give you back story, context and usually involve funny wigs and '80s music. What's there to hate?
Unfortunately they are pretty hard to find on the internets (let alone embed, god help us) but we've managed to track down ten of the most memorable flashback episodes on TV.

There are so many Friends flashback episodes! Like one a season! Apart from the Monica-and-Joey-almost-getting-together and Rachel-and-Chandler-almost-getting-together, there was also the Ross and Rachel Prom episode (sigh). But the best has to be the Thanksgiving episode when Monica cutting off Chandler's toe, right?
