Today in food news, the Guinness Book of Records' world's largest burger title has been won. The Black Bear Casino in Minnesota has cooked up a 914 kg burger, using 27 kgs of bacon, 23kgs of lettuce and 18 kgs of cheese.
A crane had to be assembled to lift the burger, which took four hours to cook (the bun took seven), and after the record was confirmed chunks were cut up to the obvious delight of the townsfolk. It looks revolting.
Well done Minnesota!
