His Airness was finally inducted into the NBA hall of fame yesterday, and as a tribute Nike created a special mini site titled Jordan: History of Flight. This site gets honourable mention for a number of reasons. The main one of course is that MJ is a living God, and one of, if not THE most recognisable sports figures in the world. I can't imagine someone who wouldn't respect the man's immense talent and style and all the great memories he has given us since he started.

Scrolling through the mini site is not only a visual pleasure due to the outstanding creative design work done and attention to detail, but the history lesson for those of you out there who do not know that much about him. It takes you through from 1985 to 2009, and has tid-bits throught like was the only player in the league who had a "Love of the game" clause written in so that he could play a game of pick up anywhere he liked. Respect.

Nice post. But when you say Jordan had a "love of the game" clause in his contract, does that mean that every other player in the league CAN'T play pickup games anywhere they like? And I thought I was cynical. Man, the NBA is something else.
