It's no secret that I love cameras. In fact, it's almost becoming a problem for me. That's why when the opportunity to partner with Sony to put the brand spankin' NEX-5 camera through its paces came up, I was all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake. This new camera fits into what I have named "the in-betweeners" category. This means that it is a camera that is seriously packed full of capabilities, but sits just under the professional level with the size of a small portable.
So far the camera is blowing us away. It comes with an 18-55mm (f3.5-f5.6) and a flat 16mm (f2.8). So yes, this baby has interchangeable lenses. I am in love with the 16mm flat. (Proper review soon, I am getting ahead of myself.)
Back to the promotion. We've enlisted professional photographer and French beauty Stephanie Bailly along with also a non-professional and our man on the ground in Sydney, Richie Poernomo, as well as Lifelounge staff members (both professional and not professional
at all) all of whom will be shooting with the NEX-5 and exploring its features.
