Because nothing says I'm fucking awesome like a bunch of neon lasers. It's
true, the 80s gave us so many fantastic inventions but right on up
there with the CD-ROM, cell phones and the Apple Macintosh was the
introduction of crazy laser-tronic portrait backdrops. Like a stroke of
genius someone decided that humble faux cloud background needed a
little something something and transformed it into a 3 dimensional
laser fantastic world. School children across the world were
immediatedly teleported to the set of Tron and portrait photography as
we knew it would never be the same.
In reality the laser fad was relatively short lived but thankfully for
the internets and
We Have Lasers!!!!!!!!!!, it will never be forgotten.
