A few years back you couldn’t walk down an inner city street for scooters. It was crazy, scooters everywhere. Like a zombie scooter apocalypse. Only with less blood, and more lattes.
These days... not so much. We’re not exactly sure what happened, but a whole lot of scooter places went bust, the scooter gangs disbanded and everyone stopped being enthusiastic about fuel efficiency.
No such problems in Japan. Thanks to a serious mod scene and tricked out bikes, scooters in Japan are just as badass as anything else you might find on the road. In fact, they kinda remind us of certain anime classic.
