Hype For Type
is the brainchild of fellow type geek Alex Haigh who's aim was to
create a new and inspiring type foundry to showcase the best in today's
typographic talent. It's also a place for designers and creatives to
gain access to truly original and exclusive fonts and a way forup and
coming type designers to make there typefaces available to the world.
The foundry will constantly be updated with the latest and greatest
typeface releases and in addition to this Hype For Type will be
releasing
exclusive designer volumes. The very first volume features fonts by
Alex Trochut,
Si Scott,
Jon Burgerman,
Hello Hikimori and some random Aussie named
Luke Lucas that will never be available from anywhere else... seriously exclusive.
My submission was the typeface LUKANO which was a typeface designed for
Lifelounge Magazine - The Tiny Edition based on the child toy mecano. It's never been available to the public until now.
