Tom Cruise rant) but there are moments when celebrities and Scientology cause nothing but tears. Here at Lifelounge, a mini consensus was taken, and we've come up with a list of disappointing Scientologists. Those who, despite it not necessarily being a surprise (Hi there, Juliette Lewis) it's none that less a little tragic (It was nice loving you my entire teen life, Jason Lee) that they joined Cruise's ranks; aligning thetans and watching
Battlefield Earth.
Some celebrities' involvement in Scientology is a bit shady (there's some conflicting information about whether Punky Brewster and Emilio Estevez practice anymore) so don't believe everything you read. I did my best, but Google can be deceptive. (I know, who would have thought that everything on the interweb isn't necessarily true?)
Meanwhile, a disclaimer: Tom Cruise isn't on this list because we are neither disappointed nor surprised that he is a Scientologist.
