Yet another fabulous idea has come to our attention here at Lifelounge. These pet beds should make empty-nesters all jump for joy. Instead of spending crazy amounts of money on kids (or travel, or charity, or...) they can spend it on pet beds. They are pretty cool and stylin' (and the animals look adorable posing on them. Holla sausage dogs!) and are crafted from all kinds of materials; eco-leather, perspex, 100 percent silk, 13 thousand thread count, 24 carat gold plate.

The prices range from around $350 to $1000 (US) which isn't really much, if you love your pet. Do you love your pet? Do you really? Really? Or do you just want to let poor little Mittens suffer; eating generic canned food, drinking tap water, and sleeping on that old beanbag? Heavens! How can you live with yourself? We should call the RSPCA.

C'mon Katie, have some consistency with your blogging. Here you are waxing lyrical about some mixing bowl tipped on its side for US$300 to US$1000 as bed for pampered pooches who probably will sleep anywhere, and you pan the Slanket? Okay it is ugly as sin, and probably a bit too cheap and nasty for your champagne tastes, but it does what it set out to do. Namely keep you warm in front of the telly. And if you think that it is an item that is invented for mindless consumerism, than ditto the be.pet beds. Methinks, you may be getting some kind of sweetener from the be.pet coffee pot?

Hey Cindi, are your retarded or have you never heard of sarcasm. This post OBVIOUSLY doesn't endorse the dog beds. Try reading.
