I have no idea how old these dolls are, but I'm hoping they were created some time in the dark ages - the rampant sexism and tokenism (which is borderline racism) that is synonymous with the Mattel company is alive and well with the American Girl dolls. They are all white (apart from the token African American, Mexican, nondescript Asian, and of course, native American), mostly blonde, and have lots of girly fun accessories, like a tiara and pom-poms.
But if we're trusting the makers of these fugly dolls have any sense of reality, the Sandra-Dee, Brady Bunch, all-American girl is a white, chunky, buck-toothed, slightly
mentally-disabled-looking stoner. These dolls are either massive creeps with wide, staring,
Village of the Damned eyes who are clearly going through an ice-induced psychosis; or they're yokels with their front teeth poking out of their mouths and if they could speak they'd say something like 'Hey maw! I found us a skunk fer dinner!'
As if these American Doll bitches don't come alive when you're sleeping and eat your soul, or something. And check out the one in the mermaid costume. She's the ringleader for sure.
(And if Mattel doesn't already want to sue me; I'll add that I think Barbie's a slut).
