Thomas Prior has captured some of the borderline cartoon-ish events at Maho Beach. The absurd is strong with this one. Maho Beach is in Sint Marteen (One of the islands of the Netherlands Antilles) in the Caribbean and the Princess Juliana International Airport is right next to it. Properly, right next to it. It's apparently a popular activity to watch aircrafts land and take-off even though jet-blast can result in "extreme bodily harm and/or death". Prior's photographs are astonishing, with a side of funny. More at thomasprior.com.
