Commonsense tells you that hitting the town on a Wednesday night probs isn’t the best idea, but Basement Jaxx playing at the Palace Theatre is pretty darn persuasive.

Special guests The Potbelleez joined the Basement Jaxx duo and needless to say the entire night was erupting with top-notch dance anthems.
South Londoners Basement Jaxx are responsible for tracks such as ‘Romeo’, ‘Where’s Your Head At’ and ‘Good Luck’, not to mention that they have remixed hits for Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake and N.E.R.D. You have another chance to see Basement Jaxx as they headline this Sunday’s Future Music Festival at Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne, as well as remaining FMF dates across the country.
