Playing arcade games on an iPad can get seriously frustrating. One minute you’re playing Pac-Man, masterfully evading Blinky and Pinky by navigating turns and chomping down fruits like a champ, and then BOOM, your finger slips and that bastard ghost gets the better of your poor little virtual pal. Sure, you don’t have to dig through your pockets to find another coin for the slot, but fuck man, it’s still annoying all the same. And hope you’re not the poor-loser type, or else you might end up transforming that iPad into a high-speed projectile aimed right at the living room wall.
Well, thankfully the ever-clever nerds at ThinkGeek have prevented all future stubby finger-related Pac-Man fails with their iPad JOYSTICK-IT. In fact, the JOYSTICK-IT should be compatible with any game that features an on-screen control pad of some sort. Just stick the $25 aluminum joystick to your screen, bust out your two-liter bottle of Shasta cola along with your all-Rush mixtape, and relive the finer moments from the '80s.
If you can’t quite afford the iPad (or happen to think that Steve Jobs is the anti-Christ who’s implanting all his devices with brainwashing chips), don’t fret, the JOYSTICK-IT still works on most Android-based tablets.
Get yours today and then challenge even the fastest-fingered nerds at your local arcade… that is, if one of those prehistoric establishments still exists in your area.
