I should start by saying that this is the Top 10 iPad cases that are STYLISH. There are hundreds of opinions out there and hundreds of cases and sleeves for the iPad, but what becomes apparent very quickly is that most of them are reviewed by pretty hardcore tech blogs that choose crap, and not style... Well after finally receiving our techno-sexy toy
(Lifelounge iPad review here) the hunt was on to spend our hard earned on the best there was to wrap her in. This was not going to be easy.
The amount of standard Technology sites that churn the same shit to the masses on iPad cases is hard to wade through and a waste of YOUR time. I have tried to give a good a sensible selection to please most people... So here goes. (And feel free to add you 2 cents in the comments!)

#10 - Official Apple iPad case - $39USD / $48AUD from Apple
Boring but good. It does what you want it to, which is protect the iPad and has the flip open / stand function. Shame about the large Apple log on the front. Could be a sign of the times when I feel that this logo is a little laaaaame. Expect to see all mums / dads sporting these as that was the most easily available case when they bought the pad. No discerning technophile would go down this path, even if it is the one of least resistance.
#9 - Booq Bags Neoprene iPad sleeve - $29.99 from booqbags
These guys have a ton of cases / bags / sleeves, but for my money looking through all their designs, I would go for the Neoprene sleeve specifically the Taipan spacesuit XS, silver. I like the turquoise interior. Yes I do.
#8 - Water Field iPad case / cases - $29USD - $59USD from WaterField
Admittedly on their logo alone I probably shouldn't be recommending these, but there are a couple of cases that #1 don't have the logo so obviously placed, and #2 could be picked off with care. The sleeve appeals to me the most, and the price is reasonable. Not too bad at all.
#7 - InCase Neoprene iPad sleeve - $39.95 from INCASE
You know what? Sometimes simple is best. If your head is spinning and you just can't make a decision and are like CBF this whole bunch of techno shit I want a case, buy this. Cool, simple iPad case from INCASE and they always do a bang up job. Easy.
#6 - Targus Hughes leather portfolio - $59.99USD from Amazon
I like this case. Although there ARE better leather cases that are cooler, you need a cheaper option, as you have just dumped a WAD of cash on the bloody iPad so if you want some classic style that wont break the bank, here she is.
#5 - The Hard Graft Pocket iPad case - €59.00 from Hard Graft
I have spoken at length about
Hard Graft on this site. I love their work. They make very, very cool shit for cool people (does that make it un-cool that I just called it cool? Hate that...) The pocket iPad case is great. Depending on style, thie is up there EASILY with the best. I would get personally their new Tilt Case as seen below!
#4 - Temple Bags iPad cases - from $143USD from Temple Bags
Ok, so Temple make BEAUTIFUL bags of all sorts, so it is no surprise that when they made a couple of options for the iPad aficionado that they would be amazing. In my humble opinion, I am always after a case that now will slip into my own Laptop bag, as it is with me always, so a sleeve is from my perspective the best way to go. But rest assured if it were a bag, I would be buying the leather one from here. AMAZING.
#3 - The Hard Graft Tilt iPad case - €75.00 from Hard Graft
This is basically at number one for me. Leather, beautiful, not to bulky and not toooo expensive. Function AND form. Nuf said, check the link.
#2 - The Kenton Sorenson iPad case - $140USD from Context
Simply beautiful. When I first saw this I fell in love. I have a woody for all things that end up distressed leather, and this is no exception. Doesn't need any explaining except that if you are planning on using it mainly as an e-book then perfect, carry it around in the beautiful case, and pull out to enjoy the books.
#1 - The Dodo iPad case - $49.99USD from Dodo
When I posted on this on Sunday, I meant what I said as this is really the best that there is IMHO as it is sleek, stylish, in a form that we are used to that plays on the juxtaposition of old world poetry and pads with the latest of new-world technology, and is cheap.
Well done to Dodo. Still number one, at least for another week until some smart little fucker comes along and makes a better one!
