Hip hop nerds the world over just razzed out over the Rap Map. It's a pretty clever little Google map that pinpoints hip hop lyrics all over the world. From
Jay-Z's shout-outs to the Marcy projects in Bedford-Stuyvesant, to T.I.'s school in ATL, to
Dre's mention of the Crenshaw Strip in LA, there's a lot of rap on the Rap Map. (Though it seems there's quite a lot missing too.)
If one were so inclined, one could get a car and do a USA rap road-trip. It'd be like the bus tour of
The Sound of Music landmarks in Austria, but with fewer people dressed as nuns.
