Tech types got a bit excited when Philips unveiled their Philips Fidelio SoundSphere speakers.
Two things came into this techtard's mind though*:
1. In some of these images, the speakers look like futuristic bathroom sinks/taps.
2. They kind of look like they'd belong in the house in which Beyonce filmed her video for
'Ring The Alarm':
(*Neither of which are interesting or humorous pieces of information. Sorry, blame Monday.)
Now, actual, factual information about the speakers:
They are a blend of Philips' popular products the Fidelio docking speakers and SoundSphere speakers and they're curved, with free-floating tweeters above the main body for better sound quality.
They play music from iTunes, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, and the fanciest part is that it can do that without the device actually being docked – all via WiFi internet connection.
Available in May for abour €800.
