If there’s one outfit that always goes down a treat at Halloween it’s the Daft Punk helmet. Every October 31 there’s a handful of people drowning in attention (and free drinks) thanks to their homemade replicas. This year you could be one of those people, if you hurry.
We’re not sure what Harrison Krix’s day job is, but in his spare time he makes Daft Punk helmets. He made a Guy-Manuel helmet last year and now he’s back with a Thomas Bangalter. Best of all, he’s uploaded a step-by-step guide to making your own helmet. There are diagram, tips, more diagrams, and everything you need to go from Johnny-sad-sack to knee deep in Halloween props.
And that’s the catch. Halloween rolls around in just over a month, so if you want to be knee deep in babes (of either gender or persuasion), then you’re going to have to get busy with the cardboard and superglue. Or whatever Harrison uses – we’re clinically incapable of ‘arts and crafts’ so we’re just throwing words around.
