Are you looking for a cost effective way to be a super spy? The AR Drone may be the answer to your problems. Small, cheap, and powdered by your iPhone, it’s an excellent way to undertake clandestine counter intelligence.

Developed by French company Parrot, the drone is as brilliant as it is creepy. Basically, it has two cameras (one on the front, one on the undercarriage), and they beam live footage straight to your iPhone. You control flight with the touchscreen and can use the video feed to see where you’re flying and who you’re spying on, i.e. can haz augmented reality?

While the AR Drone is being sold as a harmless bit of fun (and can be yours for only $300), the machine raises several questions worthy of a tinfoil hat. We can only imagine what kind of ‘killer’ drones certain military superpowers are messing around with if this thing goes for less than the actual iPhone you pilot it with. But it’s probably best not to think about that too much, lest you get a knock on your door from the reverse vampires super police.

Buy your own spy drone from ardrone.parrot.com.
