You only need to type a game character into Google image with safe search off to know that people are lo-o-o-ony.

This exercise also reveals another important fact about the general public: they like to imagine video game characters are real. Real enough to imagine them doing all sorts of crazy shit, real enough to create pages and pages of creepy fan art, real enough to produce hours and hours of ridiculous fanvids and real enough to write tribute songs for.

So in the spirit of "real", and in the spirit of hot animated characters both homme and femme, we've decided to compile a list of the best looking game characters of all time. We know how dividing a topic like this is, so feel free to cast your own vote.
