Do you have sensitive fingertips? Are they bloody and raw from hammering away at your tablet for hours? You can protect them from the rigors of modern technology with the Hilo tablet case. It doubles as a wireless keyboard and is like typing ON CLOUDS.
According to the inventor, the Hilo keyboard case features fused (hot pressed – embedded circuitry) keys on the outside that you can actually type with. So you take your tablet out, synch it up with the keyboard case and start typing The Great American Novel like it wasn’t a thing. Or write an email. Or maybe some erotic sex stories involving extremely dubious scenarios… it’s cool, we’re all adults here.
Whatever you plan on doing with your soft and nice-to-touch keyboard case (but not
that, eww!) you’re going to have to wait a little while. As it stands, this is just a prototype. And it’s a pretty early one at that – inventor Roni Margolin has it running with his own hand-crafted tablet that he made with MAGIK! (And dead unicorns.)
Point is, we like the concept. Tablets are great, but they’re not so great when it comes to typing anything longer than a Tweet. A combination carry-case and keyboard is smart. Now if they could just make one out of velour…
