It all started when I was in grade four. I wanted to be on time, hated not knowing how much time there was left in the day, or – I guess, looking back – in life. Time is intangible, but the watch somehow always made me feel like I had some control over it, regardless how unfounded that concept is.
In an effort to control time a little more, Casio has release these stunning large face G-Shock watches. G-Shock has a great heritage in both watches and also action sports, I first wrapped one on my wrist in the late 1990s after their sponsorship of the XGames. It may have been over ten years since I first got one, but I will be buying the black GA100 that is featured in the gallery attached.
Shigenori Itoh, Vice President of Casio’s Timepiece Division says “The G-Shock GA100 is testament of our commitment to our consumers... We have listened closely and delivered a stylish, large-face, technically advanced timepiece.”
The G-Shock GA100s will feature large side buttons, shock resistance, 200 metre water resistance, magnetic resistant, Auto LED light with afterglow, 48 city world time, 1/100 second chronograph, and four daily alarms and a snooze, and the whole tick-ticker is available in three hues, sentinel black, crisp white and hazard yellow.
