For the first time ever, ever, G-Shock has teamed up with a designer for a limited edition collection of time-pieces. The luck label is Starstyling Berlin (you can check some of their adventurous collections

here and
here) and the collection is, quite simply, wild.
The German design duo, Katja Schlegel and Kai Seifried, took 20 of G-Shock's current collection's watches and created unique wrist-bands for each of them. The bands are perfectly aligned with Starstyling's love of surprising textures, shapes and fabrics. (As well as their anti-fashion game of "mocking fashion's strict aesthetics, resulting in a colourful signature of revolt and play.")
The collection includes watches embellished with everything from wooden beads, friendship bands, pom-poms, tassels to a faux fur piece that resembles a Spider Monkey. A bunch of them also come with custom-made, matching tee-shirts and accessories (headbands, sweatbands, bangles) and are available at Starstyling's flagship store in Berlin. And hopefully online somewhere?
