Our Sydney mate Voges on the D & N crew posted Wubber Stumpper's first mix. Ever since that mix I've been hooked on this guys dubstep and the progression he's taken to make some substance to the newly widespread genre that everyone knowing how to make it on fruity loops thinks they are creating gold when they are really just making crap. Wubber Stumpper is keeping it real and for all you dubstep haters out there who think it sounds like two transformers having sex, I applaud you because one, I love the fu(kin9 transformers, and two, the possibilities of two transformers having sex blows my mind.

In many respects, 2012 has been marked by indifference for both sides. However, a mid-season match-up provides a key opportunity to gain an important win and a chance to move up the ladder in the second part of the season.
Hang your head in shame if otherwise. Due to outstanding public demand for this series of shows supporting new album Aufheben, a second Sydney gig has been added to the tour schedule. This new show will be at the Oxford Art Factory on Saturday 26th May and will be somewhat of a last shabang for the band before they leave the country. This will be a special one off performance which will consist solely of vocals and a backing track. We're warned dangerous levels of shredding will also be involved, as the artist formerly known as Lightspeed Champion revisits material from his critically acclaimed 2011 album “Coastal Grooves”.
Having played at just about every summer festival in 2011, including an appearance at Perth's Big Day Out thanks to Triple J Unearthed and a haul of five gongs at the WAMI awards, the buzz surrounding these guys is electric. And with the release of their new single ‘Top Floor’ on the 18th of April, the buzz is about to get real. A quirky, handclap heavy pop gem taken from their upcoming debut album, ‘Top Floor’is soaked with the Splits’ trademark harmonies, a whistling chorus and an X-rated sub plot worthy of its own reality tv show.
