While everybody's inside the Birdcage at the Melbourne Cup today,
sipping expensive bubbles, eating schmancy canapes and being asked who
they're wearing, we thought it might be nice to get some of that
not-so-fancy, just really cute, bought at the op-shop, found at
grandma's house, actually is a costume, kind of style.
The street fashion blog is certainly no new thing, but the Netherlands'
lookbook.nu has put a little bit of a spin on it. The turbo cute, not-so-cute, super styling and super delusional from Sweden to Germany to the US and Australia all post their own photos on the site and then their ensembles can be voted on. (But, just quietly, judging from the votes, it's not so much the outfit as it is the clotheshorse. There are some very adorable specimens.) Not a bad time waster.
