Another reason we should all learn Japanese (not just to understand the words smothering all the Japanese artists' websites we've come across but also so I can charm the handsome man at the sushi shop).
These images have been taken in a very clever way: what could have ended up purely syrupy and seen through rose-coloured glasses or entirely creepy and haunted by bad clowns, has ended up somewhere in-between. This photo series of an abandoned theme park in Japan have managed to be sweet and eerie, cute and pretty all at the same time.
