Alexander Richter is a boy from Maine who now lives in New York and regularly contributes to the Hip Hop Connection, XXL and Cool'eh magazines and pretty much hangs out with hip hop superstars all day. Everybody from pioneer DJ Premier to
Kid Sister, Pharoahe Monch, Aesop Rock,
Dizzee Rascal, to the Pharcyde (and Fiddy) appear in his portraits that are pretty serious business.
His talents are more numerous than glossy portraits though; his commercial and personal photography is very different, especially his heartbreaking series
Mom's Cancer and his travel shots.
In his time off he likes cooking chowder. Blam chowder, surely.
