One, two, three: TA-DAH! We present to you some steamy yet overtly feminine and whimsical shots by Thai-born and NYC-bred photographer, Tada Varich. This particular breed of voyeur declares himself as "working better with people", which basically means he's an expert at saucing up the pretty ladies and getting them to frolic around in front of a camera lens. And it's all for your viewing benefit.
As fashion photographer, Tada has shot for names such as Harper's, Esquire, Playboy and Wallpaper – it's the steamy wilderness shots for more subdued publications such as Rabbit that really show his talents. The majority are overtly sensual, dreamy and erotic, with blurred lens work and over-exposure blended alongside distorted colour and rainbows. The result is a bedroom romp of knotted hair, lesbian daliance and bitten bottom lips... Delightful!
It's not all sunshine, lollipops and cuddly baby bunnies, however. Some of it's a bit creepy (girl popsicle, anybody?) and some of it may provoke the women's rights lobby groups (nothing wrong with a dose of girl-on-girl S&M before lunchtime, right?). Closer inspection of Tada's portfolio also gives us some further insight into the man behind the camera. Whilst he shoots for major advertising clients such as Nokia, Nivea, Thai Airways and Pantene, he also specialise in "lingerie photography". It's a hard life for some, yeah?
