Artist and designer
Jeff Hamada (who's designed for the likes of
3sixteen) let me know about his
website this morning. Then I pretty much spent three hours there. Actually, it's still open now. I won't lie.
One of the artists that caught my eye was Sato Shintaro who takes amazing photos of Tokyo's cityscape at twilight. They show the diversity of the city and the colours made up from the natural and artificial light are pretty much spectacular. Shintaro says "The town is constructed by the necessity, not for the purpose of beauty, but I find it changes to beautiful shape and rhythm of which I am not aware when I am on the ground."
