As far as encapsulating the essence and freedom of youth on a naturalist tip, New York-based based photographer Ryan McGinley is as good as it gets...

His most recent series entitled Somewhere Place takes off where his previous Life Adjustment Centre left off combining the nude human form with animals, reptiles and other living things. The series contains McGinley's beautifully natural and comfortably unplucked feral Manhattan buddies both in studio and on a cross-country adventure through breathtaking landscapes.

I love it. I love McGinley. (I don't care how predictable that is.)
