Robin Schartz thinks she has a spiritual connection with animals. This obsession has lead her to photograph portraits of pet and stray dogs, and let's face it, who doesn't like looking at pictures of cute puppies? Even Hitler had a dog.
The American photographer doesn't take your standard Chow frolicking in a park shot, her subjects are generally in pretty bizarre settings. Standing in front of "Hot Dog" signs, sleeping under immobile cars and reclining on a sofa like they think they're people, each photograph seems to be cute and eerie in equal measure.
