When you think of the OC (unless you actually know what it's like there) chances are you imagine the sea, big houses, even bigger cars, and Mischa Barton flouncing around in pastels, pouting and acting like a poor little rich girl. Photographer Zach Lewis didn't love the super conservative ethos of his hometown and in his teens he immersed himself in punk and skateboarding.
Taking up photography in high school, Lewis now works as a photographer in San Francisco. He's all about realism; you won't find any made-up fairytale images in his archives. Well known for his raw, voyeuristic images, Lewis's works can be seen at
Hamburger Eyes.
