In
The September Issue, the Creative Director of
Vogue, Grace Coddington, laments the desire for crisp, sharp images in the modern age, saying there is no room for the blurs and imperfections that she so loves in photography. If anything, Matt Wilson's photography shows that the love for imperfection is still (thankfully) alive and well.
The British-born photographer takes action shots full of emotion in his
Seconds Out series, featuring young boys boxing, a raw and sadly beautiful collection of images. It's hard to say what makes Wilson's work so emotive, but you probably won't stop thinking about this photographer for a very long time.
