Mike Brodie (aka the Polaroid Kid) is a self trained photographer who
in 2003 left home at the age of 18 to travel across America via the
railway network that divides the land. He spent the next 3 years
documenting his travels and the fellow train hoppers he encountered on
the way. His images reflect an intriguing world and mostly hidden
traveling culture of people experiencing absolute freedom of life
without ties (and showers).
Unfortunately Mike Brodie the photographer doesn't have a website and
mikebrodie.com is oddly
enough occupied by a smug real estate agent who specialises in luxury
homes in Texas... Go figure. Anyway you can check some examples of
Mike's images to the right of this post and below's a little a promo clip (
Mexican) from an exhibition.
