Over the last 5 years, French artist Julien Breton has developed and
refined his style of calligraphy and typography attempting to create
his own defined alphabet. Drawing on inspirations as varied as Arabic
calligraphy and Japanese brush work through to modern graffiti styles
he's taken his so called Latin calligraphy through a variety of mediums
with none more impressive than his work with light.
Writing with light before a lens on long exposure isn't really a new
thing but Julien Breton happens to be particularly good at it working
with a variety of colours, line weight and exotic locations. Awesome work.
