We can't tell if this incredibly creepy or inspired. Chicago based photographer John Faier released a book called
Queen of Heaven, which documents
mausoleums around America. Rooms full of old dead people. Sure.
The eerie thing about this series is that they're not eerie at all. Apparently mausoleums were very big in the financial boom of the 1950s, and the furniture and pastel colored decor totally reflect the time period. It could be someone's living room... hopefully with less corpses.
