International Women's Day was last week. Some (not all, but some) would say that photographing a scantily-clad Kate Moss pouting, smoking, getting her boobs out, and looking super pretty is an odd way to celebrate. But Hedi Slimane's exhibition,
Kate Liberation, opened in Tokyo, in honour of International Women's Day.
Despite having a little difficulty aligning Ms Moss with feminist icons, and the fact that Moss's beauty matches everything cliched about femininity – willowy, delicate, and a little porcelain (although in real life, I like to think she'd break you in half if you fucked with her, perhaps during some crack-induced psychosis) the photos are pretty much beautiful. As is she.
