Gregory Crewdson's incredibly surreal and intelligently lit images of
American suburbia are eerily beautiful. They more often than not are
the result of a large production crew, similar to that of a feature
film using props like cranes and massive lighting rigs to get the
desired effect. Every image feels like a scene from a horror or scifi
film with his subject often appearing to be ina kind of trance like
daze... Amazing works.
