What's so terrible about Heidi Klum's nipples that Jordache felt
that digitally amputating them would only help them to sell more jeans?
In some countries, censorship laws determine that a hint of a darker
shade of flesh on the breast of a supermodel (as nature intended) is
more offensive and less desirable than a mutated alien with no nipples.
Men's magazines consistently airbrush their cover models to within an
inch of their life so that they barely even resemble a human and what's
it all for? Who are they even marketing to? Surely what these magazine
editors and marketing directors see as imperfections are actually what
make us truly unique and desirable. The Photoshop revolution must be
stopped.
Photoshop Disasters is a blog dedicated to outing the sloppy digital
manipulation of models and images favoured by some of the world's
most successful magazines, marketers and brands. Finally the truth is
out there.
Pictured to the right of this post are some of my faves from the blog and for more visit
