Usually what follows the inevitable congratulatory call on the arrival
of a new child into this world is commenting on their likeness to
either the mother or the father. In some scenarios this physical
connection and representation of your family gene pool is a good thing
and offers a visual sense of your lineage. In other examples, like that
of the late Michael Jackson upon looking at the
man in the mirror saw the nose or cheekbones of an abusive father, it can be a bad thing. Either way our genes are our genes like it or not.

Family Tree sought
to highlight the similarities across generation by tearing up and
glueing together portraits of family members printed at the same
proportion. The results are pretty freaky but fascinating all the same.
