Elle Green is doing it for the ladies. This young upcoming Australian photographer shoots life as she knows it, whether that be through capturing a young nubile beauty, NSW’s coastal breaks, or the distinctive mug of skater Corbin Harris at 5.15am in Bondi.
Elle’s perspective is grainy, raw and honest. It’s this that’s led previous names – such as online surf hub and epic fashion label
RVCA – to say that she “always manages to capture a sincere side to the subjects”. Sometimes this sincerity transgresses over to Japanese road trips or bombshell models rolling around half naked in lingerie (such as the divine Rose Howard). Whichever option it is she’s going for, we sincerely like it.
Her biggest portfolio devotion is for fashion photography, with editorial’s dappled in blue hues and more of those cute young ladies we were talking about earlier (plus a couple of nice looking boys for good measure). But it’s the surf and skate shots where Ms Green really comes through with the goods.
She’s more recently been putting these snaps into a little surf related book called
Hell Ripping. It’s a
Volume One, which hopefully means for viewers that there will be many more in the pipeline.
