Born in Paris, Ali Moon has taken photos all over the USA, South and Central Americas, Asia and Europe. Her photos are often black and white, and she has a knack for capturing people looking beautifully tragic (or tragically beautiful?) and for making the everyday nothing become something interesting.
Her website biography says "A camera, two big eyes, windows on the world that will grow bigger as she travels and experiments what life has to offer". It sounds contrived, and a little wannabe poetic - but we can blame the language gap, or the fact that writing about art is a tricky thing; but it doesn't really matter because (as usual) images speak louder than words and it's up to you.
