Alex Prager's Polyester collection is a little bit Valley of the Dolls, a little bit creepy child bride, and a lot cutesy kitsch. Born, raised and based in Los Angeles; Prager has had her photography featured in solo and group exhibitions, had two books of works published, won the London photographic award, and is a We activist.

Polyester's models and their flaxen wigs, gigantic eyelashes, doe eyes and stiff poses often make them look like over-sized Barbie dolls, and the retro costumes are adorable. Bikinis were so good back then.

Her next exhibition is about to open in London and is titled The Big Valley. There's been a little peek at that collection on her website so check out alexprager.com for updates and her previous works.
