Photography is Delaney Allen's medium for expressing the world from his point of view. Texas-born and trained with an MFA from Portland. Oregon, Allen shoots everything from still life to weird self portraits to lush landscapes. Allen prefers to shoot on classic point and shoots like his Yashica T4 or his Canon Powershot 10 and doesn't really seem to have any kind of through line to his work. But we guess that's because when you're capturing the world around you without any specific directive or brief, that's just what happens. The result is a portfolio of randomly beautiful photography that unashamedly makes no sense.
