We first came across the talents of Cass Bird back in 2007 and since then have checked in on her ever growing talents pretty much once a year. The LA-born shooter has managed to transcend nearly all styles and forms of photography during her career with spreads for Rolling Stone and the New Yorker, fashion shoots for labels like Nike, Wrangler, Levis as well as a film under her belt for fashion label Sophomore rounding off her portfolio.
Checking in again for 2012, it seems Cass Bird is still being as awesome as ever. Her photography seems effortless, exuding a loose and casual style that allows for true moments to be captured. Her relaxed style is totally obvious as her subjects always seem to be completely at ease and void of any photographic pretensions. And it also helps that the peeps she shoots are really really good looking.
