Melbourne photographer Louis Porter's series The Gallows has us firmly divided here at Lifelounge and will no doubt have the same effect on you. Some of us hate them and some of us are morbidly fascinated by them, but one thing is for sure, they make all of us extremely squeamish.
By law, US sex offenders have to register their details with authorities for a period between 15 years and life. Their deets are then made public via the interwebs and dispersed through all sorts of organisations, one of which, is Google. Porter has taken some of the addresses of these unspeakably evil beings and punched them into Google Street View, taking the results and cutting them out to form his series.
It's seriously, seriously, SERIOUSLY creepy stuff.
