Photographer Nathalie Mohadjer has a portfolio that is beautiful and thoughtful and insightful. Her projects include series of photographs of German homeless people, Roma (gypsies) in Kosovo, and Bosnian refugee camps. Perhaps most poignant is her project The Dungeon – a series of images from a prison/detention centre in Buhinjuza (which is in the Republic of Burundi, a small country that is bordered by Rwanda, Tanzania and the Congo). The images are intriguing and heartbreaking, and all the while taken with great sensitivity. More at nathaliemohadjer.com. Via booooooom.com.
